This entry is about our first visit to Tony Romas @ The Gardens, Midvalley (ground floor)..
Our kids, AF & AM were so excited with the ambience of the outlet-Halloween theme (we went there for lunch-saturday, 29/10/11)....ok, ok, initially the kids already went crazy when they found out the Halloween theme at TGIF (The Gardens, 1st Floor) while mama eyeing for Tiamo’s sale -2 pairs for RM139 only…sigh…all mama wanted is to window shopping only..(actually I need to focus in deciding what color/design I really wanted since money is scarce..so I have to really (3x) make up my mind if I were to buy la..…hihihihi)
We were overload with this food of our choice:
Starter:
i) Steak & Wild Mushroom Flatbread- Crisp flatbread topped with grilled beef tenderloin, melted Havarti cheese, crumbled Bleu cheese, wild mushrooms, red peppers, chives and creamy horseradish sauce. (too salty for us)
ii) Onion Loaf- Giant hand-cut Spanish onions, breaded, deep fried and served with Original BBQ sauce. (half-finished only...too full!!)
iii) Kids were given 2 celery & carrot sticks with a dip- my kids actually dip with fries instead of the healthy sticks..& mama had to finish it all with no surprise!
Main Dish:
i) Mr Lecturer- Filet Medallions-Three Filet Medallions served with mashed potatoes and coleslaw (he loved it and thinking about having this again on our next visit)
ii) Mama (I am in the search of the Best Caesar Salad) - Caesar Salad -Fresh Romaine lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing and topped with shaved Asiago cheese and croutons. (i still prefer Italiannies as compared to here and Chillies..hihihihih)
iii) Kids: AF & AM- Fish & Chips & vanilla ice-cream-sprinkled with chocs on top..
